About
Jenkins Heating & Cooling LLC,
Was started in 1978 by Eldon Jenkins, who has over 40 years experience working in this field. At this time there were five heating & cooling companies in Macon, Mo.
We are the only original Heating / AC company still operating. Most of our employees are family members that have been company employees their entire adult lives.
Our son David, is on the job day & night to repair your heating & cooling system.
Tom (our son-in-law) pictured .. has worked for us since 1985 as the Lead Service Technician

What should we do if we smell natural gas?shutoff the gas supply into your home at once. Immediately open up your house to vent the gas out to prevent a possible explosion, etc. Call fire department if you can't locate the "Natural gas shutoff valve". This valve should be located on the gas supply line located right before the gas meter. Call Jenkins Heating & Cooling LLC. What if one or more of the supply vents don't blow out any air?Make sure that the vent cover is in the open position. If the vent is in fact open and no air is blowing out of it, also make sure it is NOT an intake vent that draws air into the furnace. Once you make sure that you have a supply vent that is open, yet not working, this usually means the duct work ( associated with that vent ) has seperated completely, or has developed a hole in it. We have also found found teddy bears, clothing, toy balls, and anything else a child can hide in the blocked vent.
